This is a dump on the background of SLU, Pluton, my past in IT, some plans for the future as well.
You'll notice my writing is mainly just my train of thought within a given moment, or as some say, "a stream of consciousness", as well as rambling
Hi! This is Chief. I'm the sole owner and operator of Server League United. I'm not trying to give off too much personal information (You can try to find more online), but we'll see what I can get away with. This section was written in 2024. I'm a somewhat recent graduate, and as such, part of Gen Z. Read the above section so you understand how I write. I've had technology, whether it's an Xbox, Nintendo DS, Wii, Tablet (Not a tablet kid), since I was around 5 or 6 years old. I didn't have a functioning desktop until I was around 13 years old (Probably should've been longer, oh well).
I loved gaming (Still do), but getting on a functioning computer and being able to do what my much older siblings did when I was young was really cool. It was fun getting on Tekkit (The best Minecraft modpack) for the first time, many years after my brothers had originally showed me. It was cool being able to make a YouTube channel (Now Pluton IT).
Around this time my friends got new and hand-me-down computers and laptops. I wanted to play Minecraft with them because it was a game we all had and could play with decent frames (<20 fps for the less fortunate) I can still remember the layout of one of our first ever servers, hosted by Aternos (God bless them). The server was horribly laggy, took minutes to load, crashed often, and was difficult to manage, but we had fun. Despite my brothers smarter suggestions, I opened a Minecraft server (I'm guessing like 2019?), and gave them my IP. I'm glad nobody was trying anything malicious as my network stayed fine.
A few years later I decided to buy a domain so I didn't have to remember my IP (Many of us actually have my old IP still engrained in our minds), and so I bought SLU. As of writing this we've hit the 3 year mark (Almost cancelled it this year). Since then I've founded Pluton IT, a small tech firm dedicated to providing honest and efficient tech services at a fair price to my local community.

I believe that's all for now, Chief signing off, July 26, 24.
ServerLeagueUnited.Com, also known as SLU. Is a website I founded during school that just hit it's 3 year mark in 2024. I originally bought this website because I needed something easier than an IP for people to understand when looking for a website or connecting to a server. Since I started on SLU I've seriously grown in my knowledge in IT. It's been fun learning networking (Super relaxing), Linux, some Apple stuff, and just growing more. Originally SLU provided just a Minecraft server (One of our main servers now), but also private FTP, VPN, and internal NAS networks. I've gotta admit almost 100% of the software was made by someone else, but I've still deployed it for myself and others to enjoy. This is just a passion project, I've made nothing off of Pluton, and don't really care to. I've been able to run servers for the community, my friends, and a few cool groups like Heck Off Commie.

As I said, Pluton was founded by myself and one of, if not, my best friends from high school. Not going to doxx him here but we've been providing services for local companies and people. Pluton is entirely disconnected from SLU, I just own both.

I don't have anything in mind besides a complicated project that involves 3D scanning myself, creating a GPT style bot, training it on my voice in a TTS program, and possibly my personality to act as a digitized personal assistant. I've started somewhat but python has gave me issues, the 3d scans aren't great, and it's not a high priority. I've been at work on the website, (another) Minecraft server, and getting some personal plans setup for the past 5 or so hours, most of the creative juices are wearing out so I'm cutting it off here.
Have a good one, thanks for reading, Chief signing off, July 26, 24.
